The use of sub-gigahertz technology of these devices will improve the public metered parking system of the municipality, and that each driver knows in advance, the availability of parking spaces at their destination.

As part of the third and last stage of the deployment of the ESParking solution, the city of Bahia Blanca started at the beginning of March, the deployment and installation of parking sensors along with parking space lines in part of the downtown perimeter of that city.

The main objective of these is to complement the rest of the smart parking solutionThe main objective of these is to complement the rest of the parking system, functional since March 2018 in this Municipality and with a 5-year contract, allowing to detect with extreme precision, the percentage of occupancy and free spaces in the urban area.

This information will be displayed through the mobile application used by thousands of drivers to find available parking spaces in the place where they are going. The sensors will also collaborate in facilitating the work of the urban enforcement officers, to detect those vehicles in violation that use the parking space without the corresponding payment.

Thus, the municipality has a new tool that will effectively complement the mobile application for drivers, the App for inspectors, and the Urban Control Board where the municipality sees in real time, occupied spaces, segmented collection by the means of payment chosen, the infractions committed, the status of parking meters and RF antennas, and the parking history, among other relevant information for the Government of Bahia.
